The monthly meeting of the Norris Lake Mopar Newsletter June / July 2009 he The monthly meeting of the Norris Lake Mopar Club was held at the Club House June 5th There were 29 members present. Old Business Larry called the meeting to order. Minutes from the last meeting was read by Patty The Treasurer’s Report was read from last month by Johnny Larry mentioned that we had 5 Tee-Shirt Sponsor's. They are CCI, Spider's Glass, Valley Mine, Pinpoint Auto, & Jim Cogdill Dodge. Larry wasn't for sure about Kreative Custom's sponsoring this year. He would try and contact Keith to find out. It was also mentioned we needed to get busy getting our show class sponsors. Also, we need to try and get door prizes.
New Business
There was a lot of discussion about the tee-shirts
and the designs and graphics to be used. It was brought up in the discussion to get prices for tee-shirts & trophies from All-Star Printing in Harrogate. Back in February at the meeting, it was voted on to use Ideal Printing again this year. They helped us out last year by giving us a price cut when Thomas Chrysler pulled out & didn't help to pay for the tee-shirts.
Outstanding Business We have 5 tee-shirt sponsor's We have 24 show classes – I have 10 sponsor's - Sandy's Custom Auto, Terry's Pharmacy, Big Al's, NAPA, Security Finance, Beacon Finance, Meme's Mopar, Ideal Printing, Marvin Bean, & John Whitaker. If there is any that is not listed and you know for sure of any sponsor's please let me know. We are short 14 and this has to be finalized next meeting. We had 3 (1st place trophies) 9 (2nd Place trophies) & 13 (3rd place trophies) left from last year. Trophies ordered are 23 (1st place trophies) 17 (2nd place trophies) & 13 (3rd place trophies) It was voted on to order 100 tee-shirts in May Sizes to order are - 10 small, 10 medium. 20 large, 20 x-large, 20 2x-large, 20 3x-large.

and especially door prizes by the next meeting.
We are doing our buckets again this year.

Hospitality Night is Friday, August 14th Shelter#4
We will need some of you men to set things up Friday
morning before the show. Also, we will need all members that will, to help out with different jobs the day of the show. This all needs to be planned in the next two meetings. Due to July 4th Holiday & Carlisle Car Show our next meeting will be Friday, JULY 17th at the Club House. I encourage everyone that will to come to this meeting.
This is one month before our show.
The next meeting will be Friday,July 31st (two weeks before our show). We have so much to do before “Show Time”
